About Belinda's Place

I am an Underwriter for a Mortgage Lender. I have been in the lending business since 1992 and I understand the importance of Application Verification. I have had several jobs with different lenders from banking to brokers, to Mortgage and Auto lending. I was tired of losing my favorite lending resources while moving desks, CPU’s dying, changing jobs/careers even States, and unable to back them up.

With the help from a creative web designer I constructed “BelindasPlace.com”. My idea with it is to incorporate several links to different verification sites online, to streamline the loan approval process!

“BelindasPlace.com” has been designed in a way so that all users can contribute their favorite sites they use on a daily basis in the lending industry. I am trying to consolidate more than a just a few sites under every category, for every state, every licensed profession. Anything I can do to help continue the file process and lead to a more efficient turn around time, with fewer “buy-backs” or “red flags” is my goal. I also am able to cross link sites, so for example; my borrower is a self employed hair stylist in the state of Oregon. I can find the link on the Oregon Site and the Cosmetology Site Categories. I have added some sites we as lenders use that may require a password and login. To access these you may need to apply with the lender coordinator on that specific site or see your office manager.

I ask that you as a user spread the word to your employees and friends in the lending industry of “BelindasPlace.com”, as this is the only way it will prosper. I have paid out of my own pocket for the Domain name, site hosting and the many hours of searching for the perfect site for usable links. My friends have started to donate sites and hopefully others will pass it along with your help.
